Sept '05 Zulfi awarded Director of the Year by IoD
Zulfi Hussain has been named Director of the Year (Voluntary Sector) in the Yorkshire & Humber Director of the Year Awards. It follows the launch by Zulfi of the unique Global Promise portal, which has already raised £2million for Tsunami victims. The award, made at the Institute’s annual dinner in Leeds, was in recognition of his many achievements, including Global Promise through which Zulfi led an international consortium of businesses to offer aid to the victims.
It is a programme that I would recommend to anyone who is on the cusp of making decisions about moving to a Directors position.”
