Zulfi Hussain MBE

Zulfi is CEO of Global Synergy Solutions (GSS), author and internationally recognised speaker in the specialist areas of coaching and mentoring and diversity. He has worked across Europe, Asia and the USA on a range of leadership and management projects. He has contributed to a range of Diversity programmes across the sectors as a Coach and Mentor e.g. for BT, ITV, Leeds Ahead, National Grid, and the NHS. Zulfi has received many awards for his personal professional achievements including:
• IAB – Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2006
• IOD – Director of the Year 2006
• CVS – Volunteer of the Year 2006

Zulfi currently lives in the heart of Yorkshire with his wife and two children.

Pauline Willis - MAPS BPsych CPsychol CSci
Pauline is an Australian Organisational Psychologist and a strategic partner of Global Synergy Solutions with expertise in both designing and delivering Assessment and Development centres. Her key focus is developing integrated programmes which include assessment for development and evaluation of coaching and mentoring programme outcomes. As a leading edge practitioner and provider of integrated work based learning solutions Pauline is a sought after international speaker on these and related topics.
Pauline is highly regarded in the coaching and mentoring community of practice as the co-founder of the Coaching and Mentoring Network, founding executive board member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. She is an external advisor for the MA in Coaching & Mentoring and profession Doctorate in coaching programmes at Oxford Brookes University and tutors on the PGCert in Coaching and Mentoring Supervision. Pauline was appointed as the leader of the EMCC Competencies and Standards Project from 2000 -2003 and was an external consultant to the EMCC in the early development of the European Quality Award where she advised and supported the EMCC in selecting the first cohort of assessors who were subsequently trained and qualified to support the EMCC European Quality Award.

Sara Ireland
Sara is a chartered occupational psychologist with a background in HR and leadership. She has been a partner in Isis Consultants to the private and public sector, acted as an advisor in the NHS and Local Authorities and a fast track teaching assessor on the government programme. She has worked with BME managers in a range of development situations and written tools to support a cross cultural approach to development. She is currently working advising on the set up of e-mentoring and leadership improvement, to support the roll-out of Fair Trade in West African countries.
Sara is a key advisor and contributor in design, development and delivery of many of the GSS programmes.

Maisie Allen
Maisie has been senior NHS manager leading on change and improvement in a Primary Care Trust for many years. She was also Chair of the BME Leaders in East Anglia NHS also advising local authority networks locally and co-ordinates leadership training for BME leaders. She mentors and coaches many, including refugee leaders in public service. She has completed the Aspiring Director Programme in the NHS, is an assessor for senior management entry to the NHS, a major contributor to many national BME groups and has ensured the successful funding of BME development opportunities. Maisie's inspirational leadership has spurred on many BME staff to challenge themselves to achieve more.

Anna Britnor Guest
An enthusiastic, highly motivated and achievement-focused consultant, coach and facilitator, Anna specialises in customer-facing, goal-oriented change and employee development programmes
Anna is a co-founder and joint Managing Director of the Coaching & Mentoring Network, the UK’s leading independent information resource dedicated to coaching and mentoring.
She writes regularly on staff and management development for professional journals and has also been widely quoted within the press, including the Times, the Guardian and the Institute of Directors’ magazine.

Anna is a popular and lively speaker. Speaking engagements have included:
